Jack Teagarden Vernon, Texas
Jack Teagarden (August 20, 1905 - January 15, 1964) was an American jazz trombonist, bandleader, composer and
vocalist.
In 1947 he joined Louis Armstrong and His "All Stars". Together they recorded nearly ten albums and were a huge success.
He also played with Peck Kelley, Ben Pollack, Eddie Condon, Red Nichols, Jimmy McPartland, Earl Hines, Paul Whiteman, as well as fronting his own bands.
